About the Artist
Godwin Akpan is a self-taught artist currently based in Lagos, Nigeria. He works full time at Anthill Studios doing concept arts and illustration. He started his professional career back 2012 by doing storyboards for film. He later progressed to doing concept art and matte painting for different projects. Over the years he has also developed skills in areas like comic book illustration, character and environment design, props and vehicle design, and so on. Some of the projects he has worked on include PLAYTHING (concept arts) THE SIM (concept arts), E.X.O (promotional arts and cover designs), MALIKAH (promotional arts, concept arts and cover designs), L.S.P.D comic, and MTV SHUGA comic (illustrator and colorist). He works mainly in digital medium using both 3D and 2D softwares to create his artworks. You can view his portfolio here:
