About the Artist

Kim Myatt is a self-taught artist born in Wales in the UK. They produce haunting and melancholy imagery, mixing an innate paganism with a fascination for violent and glittering sci-fi dystopias. Kim is inspired by liminal spaces, culture mixing in the cyberpunk genre, urban legends, and nature vs human ruin.

Their work is mainly digital and is born out of the chaos of gradient maps used with photographic texture and visual information to achieve unique and strange colour schemes. With the constant belief that you cannot break a digital painting, the pixel paint is pushed and pulled until a final vision crystallises out of the pandemonium.
