It’s that time of year! The time to choose 2018’s Story of the Year! Each year, we let you – the readers – select your favorite Apex Magazine story from all of the original fiction published in the past 12 months. Each person can vote for up to three stories, because we know choosing only one would be way too hard! Voting will remain open until February 4th. A new year is here and so many of us are happy to have a fresh start, but before we close the book on 2017 once and for all we need you – the Apex Magazine readers – to select your favorite story from the past year! Since 2012 we have opened up the polls and sent out the call, giving the readers the power to bestow one lucky author the title of Apex Magazine Story of the Year. Past winners include Katharine E.K.
